Description

This series of engines are usually to be found on ride-on lawnmowers and garden tractors.

They have a plastic top cover which gives the engine a rounded triangular appearance.
The oil dipstick is located at the rear right corner (viewed from behind)

The rocker cover bolted to the front of the engine has "OHV" emprinted into it and the spark plug is set fairly deep
to the side of it.

The carburettor and air filter are on the left hand side of the engine (viewed from behind). Some models have a hinged clip to open the
cover (rectangular air filter) and others have 2 threaded knobs (cylindrical filter).

The Model, Type and Code numbers are stamped into the top edge of the rocker cover.
The Model number will begin with 21
